I don't often leave reviews - but in this instance HM James deserved an enormously brilliant review. They stayed open late for me as I got caught up in bad traffic and they were the only people who stocked, in their huge reserve of bathroom supplies, a toilet seat which I could get no where else. Jon was extremely helpful, kind and understanding. They have been there for so long and you can tell why. Great company, great ethos and great service. Thanks and well done!

Staff was rude and unhelpful. Came all the way from Central London as the store looked like it had a lot of choice for toilet seats and I was hoping for better service from a small independent business. Unfortunately that was not the case. The man behind the counter couldn't be bothered even though I was the only customer! Kept pushing me to buy one of their expensive customised toilet seats, and only showed me one of their products (very reluctantly) and nothing else.
I brought a template of my pan and he said the shape was very unique so he couldn't help (other than make a customised seat for 250) and I pointed out a standard toilet right behind me that was the exact same shape! Unimpressed with the unhelpfulness and abrasive attitude. Will bring my business to Homebase or B&Q.
